Latinx Scholars

Latinx Scholars are individuals, often students or researchers, who identify with the Latinx community—an inclusive term for people of Latin American origin or descent. These scholars focus on advancing knowledge related to Latinx history, culture, social issues, and experiences. They may study, teach, or produce research to increase understanding and support the growth and representation of Latinx populations in academia and society. The term “Latinx” is used to promote gender inclusivity, recognizing the diversity within Latin American and Hispanic identities.
