Late Neolithic

The Late Neolithic is the final phase of the Neolithic period, roughly around 4000 to 2000 BCE, marked by significant advancements in farming, tools, and social organization. During this time, communities expanded, settled more permanently, and developed larger, more complex settlements. People improved farming techniques, cultivated a wider variety of crops, and domesticated animals. They started producing pottery with decorative styles and built more sophisticated structures, reflecting increased social complexity. This period set the foundation for the development of early civilizations and widespread cultural changes that followed in the Bronze Age.
