Larkin Administration Building

Larkin Administration Building was a pioneering office designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright in 1904 for the Larkin Soap Company. It featured innovative use of open workspace layouts, natural light, and integrated design elements to promote efficiency and employee well-being. Known for its modern approach, it incorporated custom furniture, interior murals, and communal spaces that fostered collaboration. Although it was demolished in 1950, the building influenced modern office design by emphasizing the importance of aesthetic environment, human-centered workspace, and functional architecture. Today, it is regarded as a significant example of early modernist and progressive office architecture.
