laparoscopic excision
Laparoscopic excision is a minimally invasive surgical technique used to remove abnormal tissue, cysts, tumors, or diseased organs from inside the body. The surgeon makes small incisions, usually less than a centimeter, through which tiny instruments and a camera called a laparoscope are inserted. The camera provides a detailed view of the internal structures on a monitor, guiding precise removal of the targeted tissue. Because it involves smaller cuts, this approach typically results in less pain, shorter recovery times, and minimal scarring compared to traditional open surgery.
