Language and Sound

Language is a structured system of symbols, such as words and grammar, used for communication and expressing ideas. Sound refers to the vibrations traveling through the air (or other mediums) that our ears detect and our brains interpret as speech. When someone speaks, their vocal cords produce sound waves that carry language’s structure, allowing others to understand. Essentially, language is the organized meaning behind words, while sound is the physical signal that conveys those words. Together, they enable humans to share thoughts, emotions, and information effectively.
