Land Settlement Association
The Land Settlement Association (LSA) was a UK government initiative established after World War II to help small-scale farmers and unemployed urban workers become independent farmers. It provided affordable land and resources, supporting individuals in growing crops and raising livestock. The goal was to promote rural regeneration, self-sufficiency, and employment. The LSA aimed to sustain local agriculture, reduce urban unemployment, and create vibrant rural communities by offering training, land, and financial assistance to new farmers.
