Ladyfest

Ladyfest is a global, community-driven festival celebrating women’s creativity, activism, and culture. Founded in 2000 as a response to gender inequalities in the arts and media, it features music, art, performances, workshops, and discussions focused on feminist issues. Ladyfest aims to amplify women's voices, foster collaboration, and promote social change through diverse, inclusive events. While initially grassroots and volunteer-led, it has grown into a recognized platform that encourages solidarity, empowerment, and awareness around gender equality and women’s rights across different communities.
