Lacrimator

A lacrimator is a substance that causes the production of tears, often used in the context of chemical agents or irritants. Commonly known as tear gas, lacrimator agents are used by law enforcement for crowd control or self-defense, irritating the eyes and respiratory system to incapacitate individuals temporarily. The effects include tearing, discomfort, and difficulty breathing, which can drive people away from the area. While effective for controlling disturbances, lacrimator agents can also pose health risks and have raised concerns about their use in protests or other situations.
