
Labors of Hercules
The Labors of Hercules are a series of seven (later expanded to twelve) mythological challenges that Hercules, a heroic figure in Greek mythology, had to complete as penance. These tasks were difficult and often dangerous, meant to test his strength, ingenuity, and courage. They included feats like slaying formidable monsters, capturing wild animals, and cleansing a polluted stables. Each labor symbolized overcoming great obstacles to achieve redemption and demonstrate true heroism.
