Labarum

The Labarum was a military standard used by the Roman Empire, notably during Constantine the Great's reign. It featured a Christian symbol, the Chi-Rho (☧), which combines the Greek letters Chi (Χ) and Rho (Ρ) representing the first two letters of Christ's name. This emblem signified the emperor's embrace of Christianity and was used to inspire and unify troops. The Labarum symbolized the blending of military authority and Christian faith, serving both as a banner in battle and as a religious statement of the empire's new Christian identity.
