Kumihimo

Kumihimo is a traditional Japanese technique of braiding together multiple strands of thread or cord to create decorative and functional cords, often used in jewelry, clothing, and ceremonial objects. Using a special round or square loom called a marudai or takadai, different colored threads are carefully arranged and woven in a pattern by moving them around pegs.
