Kukryniksy

Kukryniksy was a collective pseudonym for three talented Soviet artists—Mikhail Kuprijanov, Nikolai Sokolov, and Vladimir Likhachyov—known for their impactful caricatures, posters, and illustrations. Active mainly from the 1930s to the 1980s, they used their art to comment on political and social issues, often promoting Soviet ideals. Their distinctive style combined sharp wit with detailed craftsmanship, making their work highly recognizable. Beyond propaganda, Kukryniksy also created satirical art and contributed to cultural and political discourse, reflecting the era's complexities while remaining influential figures in Soviet artistic life.
