Kubler-Ross model (Five stages of grief)

The Kubler-Ross model describes five emotional stages people often go through when facing loss or difficult life changes: denial (refusing to accept reality), anger (feeling frustrated or resentful), bargaining (trying to negotiate or find ways to delay acceptance), depression (deep sadness or despair), and acceptance (coming to terms and finding peace). These stages are not always linear and individuals may experience them in different orders or revisit certain feelings. The model helps us understand that grief is a process, and experiencing these emotions is a natural part of coping with significant loss.
