KREC (Karnataka Regional Engineering College)

KREC, or Karnataka Regional Engineering College, was a premier technical institution in India established in 1960 in Surathkal, Karnataka. It later became the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), a prestigious public engineering university. KREC/NITK offered undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various engineering disciplines, focusing on quality education, research, and industry collaboration.
