KPU (General Elections Commission)

KPU, or the General Elections Commission, is an independent agency in Indonesia responsible for organizing and overseeing elections, including presidential, legislative, and local elections. Its role ensures that elections are conducted fairly, transparently, and in accordance with laws. KPU manages candidate registration, ballot preparation, voting procedures, vote counting, and results announcement. It also monitors compliance and resolves election-related disputes.
