Kosovo government
The Kosovo government is a parliamentary system where elected representatives make decisions for the country. The president acts as the head of state, mainly representing Kosovo internationally, while the prime minister is the head of government, handling daily administration. The National Assembly, Kosovo’s parliament, passes laws and oversees the executive. Kosovo declared independence from Serbia in 2008, which most countries recognize, but Serbia and some others do not. The government works to develop Kosovo’s economy, ensure security, and promote services for its citizens, balancing local governance with international relationships.
