Korku language
Korku is an indigenous language spoken primarily by the Korku tribe in central India, particularly in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. It belongs to the Munda language family, which is part of the larger Austroasiatic language group. Korku has its own unique script and oral traditions, including storytelling and folk songs. As a minority language, it reflects the cultural identity and history of its speakers. While it is primarily oral, some written forms exist for educational and cultural preservation. Efforts are underway to preserve and promote Korku amidst increasing linguistic and cultural globalization.
