Kolarian
Kolarian refers to a branch of the Dravidian language family spoken mainly in parts of eastern India, including Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana. These languages, such as Kui, Gondi, and Kuvi, are used by indigenous tribal communities. They have distinct linguistic features and rich cultural traditions. Kolarian languages are important for understanding the linguistic diversity of India and preserving the heritage of the tribal populations who speak them. They are primarily oral but have written forms in some cases, and efforts are ongoing to document and promote their usage.
