Koinonia Farm is an intentional Christian community near Americus, Georgia, founded in 1942. It emphasizes social justice, racial equality, sustainable living, and shared responsibilities, inspired by biblical principles. Members work together in farming, education, and activism to promote a more just and compassionate society. Recognized as an early example of intentional community, Koinonia also played a role in the civil rights movement and co-founded the Dollywood Foundation. Its focus remains on fostering community, faith-based service, and environmental stewardship while challenging social inequalities.
