Kodava

Kodava is an ethnic group from the Kodagu region in Karnataka, India, known for their distinct language, culture, and traditions. They have their own unique language called Kodava Takk, which is unrelated to neighboring languages. The Kodavas are traditionally martial, with a rich history of bravery and valor, often associated with local customs like ceremonial dances and festivals. They primarily practice agriculture and cattle-rearing, and their community celebrates colorful festivals such as Kailpodlu.
