Kobzar
"Kobzar" is a term from Ukrainian culture referring to a bard or minstrel, traditionally a poet-musician who performs songs and poetry, often related to Ukrainian history, folklore, and identity. Historically, kobzars played an important role in preserving and transmitting cultural values orally, especially during times of foreign rule and hardship. They typically used a bandura, a Ukrainian stringed instrument, to accompany their singing. Today, "Kobzar" also refers to a famous collection of Ukrainian poetry by Taras Shevchenko, symbolizing national pride and literary heritage.
