KKK (Katipunan)

The Katipunan, officially known as the Kataastaasan, Kagalang-galangang Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan (KKK), was a secret Filipino revolutionary society founded in 1892. Its goal was to gain independence from Spanish colonial rule through armed uprising. Members used covert methods, codes, and symbols to organize and coordinate their efforts. The KKK played a crucial role in the Philippine Revolution, inspiring nationalist movements and laying the groundwork for the country's eventual independence in 1898. It symbolized Filipino patriotism and resistance against colonization, emphasizing unity and self-determination.
