Kittyhawk

Kitty Hawk is a small town in North Carolina, famous for being the site of the Wright brothers' first powered flight on December 17, 1903. Orville and Wilbur Wright successfully flew their aircraft, the Wright Flyer, for 12 seconds over a distance of 120 feet, marking a pivotal moment in aviation history. This achievement demonstrated that controlled, sustained flight was possible and laid the groundwork for modern aviation.
