Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes
The Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes was a nation founded in 1918 after World War I, uniting several South Slavic groups who had previously been part of different empires. It aimed to create a single state for Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes, reflecting their shared South Slavic heritage. The country faced internal tensions due to diverse ethnic, religious, and cultural differences. In 1929, it was renamed the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. This state eventually evolved into modern-day Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, and other countries in the Balkans.
