Kingdom of Odrysia
The Kingdom of Odrysia was an ancient Thracian state located in what is now Bulgaria, thriving from around the 5th century BC to the 1st century AD. It was composed of various tribes united under a monarchy, with a rich cultural tradition of metalwork, art, and religious practices. Odrysia played a significant role in regional politics, interacting with ancient Greece and Persia. Its most famous ruler was King Seuthes III. Eventually, Odrysia was absorbed into the Roman Empire, but its legacy remains evident in archaeological finds that reveal its sophisticated society and history.
