Kingdom of Ansteorra

The Kingdom of Ansteorra is a regional branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), a worldwide organization dedicated to exploring and recreating medieval and renaissance history through arts, combat, and culture. Covering the central U.S., especially Texas and surrounding areas, Ansteorra hosts events like tournaments, workshops, and festivals where members dress in period costumes, practice historical skills, and engage in friendly competitions. It aims to foster education, camaraderie, and appreciation of past cultures by blending historical authenticity with community and fun.
