King Ramkhamhaeng the Great was a revered ruler of the Sukhothai Kingdom in medieval Thailand, reigning around the late 13th and early 14th centuries. He is best known for unifying and strengthening his kingdom, promoting arts, culture, and religion. Importantly, he created the Ramkhamhaeng Inscription, which is considered one of the earliest forms of Thai writing and helped spread literacy and administrative organization.
