Khomeinism

Khomeinism is the political ideology based on the teachings of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, emphasizing the establishment of an Islamic government led by religious scholars. It advocates for the integration of Islamic principles into all aspects of governance, insisting that clergy should have authority over political decisions to uphold Islamic law (Sharia). Khomeinism rejects Western influence and emphasizes revolutionary purity, aiming to create an Islamic society rooted in religious authority and moral virtue.
