Khalsa (Sikh Brotherhood)
The Khalsa is the collective community of initiated Sikhs founded by Guru Gobind Singh in 1699. It signifies a spiritual brotherhood committed to leading a life of discipline, equality, and social justice. Members of the Khalsa, known as Khalsa Sikhs, adhere to specific practices, including wearing distinctive articles of faith called the Five Ks. The Khalsa embodies the Sikh ideals of devotion, courage, and service, serving as guardians of justice and protectors of all. It emphasizes communal unity, spiritual purity, and dedication to upholding righteousness in society.
