Kerensky Government
The Kerensky Government was the Russian provisional government led by Alexander Kerensky, established in 1917 after the fall of Tsar Nicholas II. It aimed to create a democratic administration and continue Russia’s participation in World War I. However, it faced challenges like widespread unrest, economic turmoil, and opposition from both radical socialists and returning soldiers. Its inability to implement decisive reforms or withdraw from the war led to declining support. Eventually, in October 1917, the Bolsheviks seized power, overthrowing the Kerensky Government and establishing Soviet rule.
