Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education
The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) is a nationwide exam taken by students in Kenya after completing secondary school, usually around age 18. It assesses their knowledge and skills across various subjects such as mathematics, sciences, languages, and social studies. The results determine students’ qualification for higher education or vocational training. The KCSE is an important milestone and is used by universities and employers to gauge a student’s academic ability. It is administered by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) and is a key part of the country's education system.
