Kentucky Bourbon
Kentucky Bourbon is a type of American whiskey made primarily from corn (at least 51%), distilled in Kentucky. It’s aged in new, charred oak barrels, which give it its distinctive amber color and rich flavor profile, often featuring notes of caramel, vanilla, and oak. To be called bourbon, it must meet specific legal standards, including being distilled at no more than 160 proof and entered into barrels at no more than 125 proof. Kentucky is renowned for its ideal climate and limestone-filtered water, which contribute to the high quality and unique characteristics of its bourbon.
