Kensington and Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation

The Kensington and Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation (KCTMO) was a housing management company responsible for overseeing affordable rental homes in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London. It managed day-to-day housing services, maintenance, and tenant relations on behalf of the local council. Established to improve tenant engagement and service quality, KCTMO operated as an arm’s length organisation. However, it gained wider scrutiny following the Grenfell Tower fire in 2017. The organization was then replaced by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to ensure more direct control and accountability over housing management.
