Kennedy's Test

Kennedy's Test is a physical examination used by healthcare providers to assess for Lateral Epicondylitis, commonly known as tennis elbow. During the test, the patient’s extended fingers are resisted while the examiner applies pressure, which causes pain over the outer part of the elbow. If pain is felt in this area, the test suggests inflammation or injury of the tendons involved in wrist and finger extension. It helps clinicians diagnose tennis elbow and determine the severity of the condition, guiding appropriate treatment plans.
