Kashmiri Hindus

Kashmiri Hindus, also known as Kashmiri Pandits, are a Hindu community native to the Kashmir Valley in northern India. With ancient roots in the region, they traditionally practiced Hinduism and contributed to its cultural and religious heritage. Over the past few decades, many Kashmiri Hindus faced violence, persecution, and mass migration due to conflict between India and Pakistan and regional tensions. Today, they are a minority in Kashmir, primarily residing outside the valley, working to preserve their cultural identity and heritage amid ongoing challenges.
