Kartvelian languages
The Kartvelian languages are a small family of languages spoken mainly in Georgia, a country at the intersection of Europe and Asia. They include Georgian, Mingrelian, Laz, and Svan, each with unique features but sharing common roots. These languages have distinctive alphabets and complex grammatical systems, especially Georgian, which uses a unique script. They are not related to most European or Asian language families, making them linguistically unique. The Kartvelian languages reflect Georgia's rich cultural heritage and history, preserving traditions through their scripts and oral literature.
