Kartini

Kartini was an influential Indonesian activist and pioneer for women’s rights in the early 20th century. She advocated for women’s education, empowerment, and equality at a time when traditional norms limited their opportunities. Her efforts challenged gender barriers and inspired greater focus on women’s issues in Indonesia. Although she did not live to see widespread change, her writings and activism laid the foundation for progress in gender equality.
