Karl von Pflanzer-Baltin

Karl von Pflanzer-Baltin was an Austrian military officer and politician, born in 1883. He served as Austria’s Minister of Defense and later became the Vice-Chancellor. Notably, he was a key figure in Austria’s attempts to maintain independence during turbulent times around World War I and the interwar period.
