Karl Ludwig (Archduke)
Karl Ludwig was an Austrian archduke born in 1833 and a member of the Habsburg royal family. He was the brother of Emperor Franz Joseph I and served as the Vice-roy of Lombardy-Venice, playing a significant administrative role in Italy during the mid-19th century. Known for his moderate views and efforts to modernize governance, Karl Ludwig was also involved in military and political affairs within the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
