Kardecism
Kardecism, also known as Spiritism, is a spiritual philosophy founded by Allan Kardec in the 19th century. It teaches that spirits of the deceased continue to exist and can communicate with the living through mediumship. The philosophy emphasizes moral development, the law of cause and effect, and reincarnation as paths to spiritual progress. Kardecism seeks to understand the nature of the soul, the universe, and the moral principles guiding human behavior, promoting compassion, self-improvement, and harmony between science and spirituality. It is practiced through study, ethical living, and sometimes mediumistic communication.
