Kaplan turbine

A Kaplan turbine is a type of water turbine used to generate electricity from flowing water, typically in dams or rivers. It is designed with adjustable blades that rotate to efficiently harness energy from water at different flow rates and water levels. As water passes through the turbine, it causes the blades to spin, turning a generator that produces electricity. The design allows for high efficiency in low to medium head (height difference) water sources, making it ideal for producing large amounts of renewable energy reliably.
