Kanu Sanyal
Kanu Sanyal was an Indian revolutionary and communist leader who played a key role in the Naxalite movement, a radical Maoist-inspired uprising against the government in the late 1960s. He believed in fighting for the rights of marginalized rural poor through revolutionary means. Sanyal initially joined the Communist Party of India and later co-founded the Naxalite movement after a split. His efforts aimed to address land inequality and social injustice, challenging the existing system. Despite controversies, Sanyal is remembered as a significant figure in India's history of political activism and radical leftist movements.
