Kantian Idealism
Kantian Idealism is a philosophical perspective that suggests our experience of the world is shaped by the way our mind structures it. Kant argued that we don’t perceive things as they are entirely on their own, but rather through mental categories and forms—like space and time—that our minds impose. This means reality, as we understand it, is a combination of external objects and our inner mental framework. Essentially, knowledge arises from the interaction between what exists outside us and how our mind organizes that experience, emphasizing that our perception of reality is inherently subjective yet guided by universal features of human cognition.
