Kaminari-mon

Kaminari-mon, meaning "Thunder Gate," is the iconic entrance gate to Senso-ji Temple in Tokyo, Japan. Designed in a traditional style, it features a large central lantern and two imposing statues of the gods Fujin (the wind god) and Raijin (the thunder god) on either side. The gate symbolizes protection and welcomes visitors into the historic temple area. It serves as a cultural symbol and a popular photo spot, representing the spiritual and historical significance of Senso-ji as Tokyo’s oldest temple.
