Kaliningrad
Kaliningrad is a Russian exclave located on the Baltic Sea, separated from mainland Russia by other countries. It borders Poland and Lithuania and is part of Russia but has no land connection to it. Historically, it was the German city of Königsberg until after World War II, when the Soviet Union took control and renamed it. It's strategically important for Russia's military and trade, serving as a key Baltic port. The region features a mix of Russian and European influences, with unique cultural and historical significance, making it an interesting geopolitical and economic enclave within Europe.
