Kailash Yatra
Kailash Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage to Mount Kailash in Tibet, regarded as a spiritual center in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon. Devotees believe the mountain is the dwelling of Lord Shiva, making the journey a path for spiritual purification and divine connection. Pilgrims perform a circumambulation around the mountain—called the kora—traditionally a 52-kilometer trek that involves prayer, meditation, and ritual offerings. The pilgrimage requires physical endurance and faith, offering a profound experience of devotion and reflection amidst breathtaking Himalayan scenery.
