Kadesh Barnea
Kadesh Barnea is an ancient site in the southern Levant, significant in biblical history. It served as a key stopping point for the Israelites during their journey from Egypt to the Promised Land. The Israelites initially sent spies into Canaan from Kadesh Barnea, and later, it was the location where they rebelled against Moses’ leadership by doubting their ability to conquer the land. Consequently, this event led to a 40-year period of wandering in the desert before entering Canaan. Today, Kadesh Barnea is an archaeological site that symbolizes faith, obedience, and the consequences of doubt.
