K-2 Visa
The K-2 visa is a U.S. immigration benefit that allows the child of a K-1 visa holder (a foreign fiancé(e) planning to marry a U.S. citizen) to enter the United States. It is granted to minor children (under 21) accompanying or following to join a K-1 visa holder. The K-2 visa enables children to stay with their parent in the U.S. during the fiancé(e) visa process, ultimately allowing them to apply for lawful permanent residence (Green Card) once their parent’s K-1 visa is approved.
