Justice Bell

The Justice Bell was a symbolic replica of the Liberty Bell, created in 1915 to support women’s suffrage in Pennsylvania. It represented the fight for women’s voting rights and was used as a rallying emblem for the movement. The bell was ringable and traveled widely to inspire activism. Notably, it was kept silent for much of the campaign to symbolize the injustice of women being denied the vote. When women finally gained the right to vote in 1920, the Justice Bell was rung publicly to celebrate, symbolizing progress toward equality and justice for all.
