Jurisprudence of the Islamic School
Jurisperprudence of the Islamic School, known as Fiqh, is the scholarly study and interpretation of Islamic law derived from the Quran, Hadith (sayings of the Prophet), and other sources. It guides Muslims on how to live ethically, socially, and legally. Different schools within Islam, such as Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i, and Hanbali, interpret these sources slightly differently based on historical teachings and reasoning. Fiqh provides rulers and individuals with rules on worship, morality, family issues, business, and justice, shaping Islamic society’s legal and ethical framework.
